Post-Race Analysis:

Pinkie Swear won the first Grade I race of his career, capturing the $100,000 Iroquois in a three-horse photo finish. All Gong (GB) was second with Greek Hero third.

Pinkie Swear was making his second start over fences this year after having finished third in the Royal Chase on April 28th. He has now won six of 24 lifetime starts while earning almost a quarter of a million dollars ($232,316).

The second and third place finishers had both won their only start over fences this year before today's race: All Gong had previously won the $100,000 Atlanta Cup on April 15th, and Greek Hero had won the Grade II Temple Geathmey at Middleburg on April 22nd..

Campanile was fourth, followed by Cofidente (Chi). Rowdy Irishman, who had won the previous two runnings of this race, finished last. Clearance Code and Duc Mouriniere (Fr) both scratched. The complete order of finish is listed below.

The Grade II Marcellus Frost was won by Golden Rule (Thorton/Day), with Allgrit (Kingsley/Sheppard) second, Al Skywalker (O'Hara/Majette) third and Prime Legacy (Foley/Costick) fourth.

The $50,000 Mason Houghland Memorial timber stake was won by Iron Fist (Kiser/Voss) with Final Final (Thorton/Elliot) second, Maipo (Kingsley/Fenwick) third and Double Redouble (Hobson/Smithwick) fourth.
